The bombs are falling and Democrats want to repeat history

Friends,

On the largest day of protest in American history, millions of people filled the streets at No Kings rallies to say: No more tyranny. No more violence. No more silence.

And yet silence and complicity is exactly what we got.

Because while the people protested, the United States quietly armed Israel with a fresh shipment of missiles just days before Netanyahu’s government launched its first strikes on Iran.

This is the opening chapter of another catastrophic war of choice.

And just like the run-up to Iraq and Afghanistan, the Democrats are falling in line. Marching with us one day, parroting AIPAC’s talking points the next.

We are watching, in real time, as party leaders abandon conscience for corruption and sacrifice the lives of Iranian and Israeli civilians, Palestinians, and Americans abroad for the illusion of geopolitical control.

Both parties will echo the same lies that led to the murder of millions across the Arab world. And they expect us not to notice.

But the American people do notice. A new YouGov poll shows just 16 percent support war with Iran.

Even Tucker Carlson, an unserious man who has spent years stoking fear and division, has called it deeply wrong that America should use its military to help an extremist right-wing government wage an all-out regional war.

There is no mandate for this. There is only complicity.

Because it is always the working class, the marginalized, and the dispossessed who pay the price.

Rich man’s war, poor man’s blood.

Never the children of Wall Street executives with Raytheon portfolios. Never the politicians cashing AIPAC checks while sending someone else's kids to die.

We are not watching a conflict between left and right. We are watching two wings of the same bird fly straight into the furnace of empire.

And that bird is a war hawk.

We must not make the same mistake again.

California is the most powerful state in the union. Under a Ware administration, we will not allow our ports, airspace, or infrastructure to be used in a war against Iran.

No backdoor cooperation. No silent aid. No logistical support for forever wars against Black and Brown children in faraway lands.

Because real leadership does not hide behind silence and spin. It stands against empire.

The Green Party is not here to offer softer war. We are here to end it.

Peace and Power,

Butch Ware
