The National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW) is hosting a Governor's candidate forum on September 28th, but they've deliberately excluded Butch Ware - the ONLY candidate firmly committed to universal single-payer healthcare for Californians.

Why are they shutting out the true healthcare advocate? Because the healthcare industry has spent over $300 million to lobby establishment Democrats so that you never hear about:

• Real commitments to implementing universal single-payer healthcare through CalCare

• Ending the influence of for-profit insurance companies in healthcare decisions

• Free state college tuition to eliminate crushing debt for new healthcare professionals

• Guarantees for safe staffing, reasonable hours, and benefits for all healthcare workers

Union leaders must stop taking their cues from a Democrat Party that routinely serves corporate interests over their members. NUHW members and the voting public deserve to hear from candidates who will stand up to corporations and guarantee universal single payer healthcare!
