Organizing the voters neither party understands

Let me give you the big news up top: this campaign is hitting the road.

We’re putting together a grassroots organizing tour across California—and let us tell you how you can help.

California has 13 counties that consistently flip in regional and state nonpartisan races. That’s not a coincidence. It’s a sign.

These communities aren’t politically confused—they’re politically abandoned. 

One cycle they vote blue, the next they vote red—not out of belief, but out of desperation.

They’re told they have two choices: the party that sold off their water rights, or the one that lets billionaires buy up their neighborhoods.

But that false choice is cracking. And when it breaks, we’ll be ready.

Because what we’ve learned is this: people aren’t apathetic—they’re exhausted. They’ve shown up, spoken out, and been ignored. But when someone finally listens, when someone treats them as more than a vote—they show up, too.

These are not counties locked into ideology. 

They’re counties searching for something real. And no one’s been there to meet them—not consistently, not honestly, not with a movement that’s rooted in dignity instead of donors.

That’s why we’re building a statewide tour to show up, face-to-face, with the people who’ve been left behind.

We’re going into all 13 swing counties—and then beyond.

Because we don’t believe in campaigns that write off half the map. We believe the future of California is in the places no one’s fighting for.

The truth is California's Top Two primary system is a huge opportunity for the Green Party to build power and win. In the 2022 primary, the candidate in 2nd place only got 17%. By focusing on voters who frequently get left behind, we can easily beat that and be on to the general election.
