Last night in Manchester, England, something happened that the political establishment did not see coming.

Hannah Spencer — a 34-year-old plumber and Green Party councillor — won a parliamentary seat that the Labour had held for nearly 100 years. She won with 40.7% of the vote. 

The hard-right Reform UK came in second. And Prime Minister Keir Starmer's Labour Party? They came in third.

Analysts are calling it a fracturing of the UK's traditional two-party politics. Green Party leader Zack Polanski said it has "torn the roof off" British politics.

Here's what I need you to hear: THIS IS OUR MOMENT TOO.

Every cycle, they tell us we have to choose. Lesser of two evils. Don't waste your vote. Be realistic. Hold your nose and vote “blue no matter who”. 

And every cycle, the same system that's failing our communities gets handed another four years.

Manchester just proved that story is a lie.

Dr. Butch Ware is running for Governor of California as the Green Party candidate with zero corporate dollars, zero apologies, and a vision for what this state can actually be. 

He can win just like Hannah Spencer did. This time, the stakes are even higher in the race for chief executive of the wealthiest, most populous, and most culturally significant state in the union.

The wave is global. The fracture is real. The time is N.O.W (No Opportunity Wasted).

P.S.  They excluded Dr. Ware from debates. They said he couldn't win. They said this moment wasn't possible. Manchester just answered all of that. Let's make California answer it too.
