Every one of these cuts exposes the truth that both major parties built an economy devoted to corporate power at the expense of human life.

The richest country in the recorded history of the world treats workers as fuel for an engine that enriches a small class of elites.

Republicans openly celebrate this captured economy. Democrats rehearse empathy while drawing power, money, and influence from the very structure they condemn in words alone.

Chip in to fuel a campaign that seeks to break the grip of corporate rule and place the future of California in the hands of working people.

When capital dictates public policy, layoffs arrive like storms.

Families unravel under the weight of rising prices while those who engineered the hardship shelter behind gated estates.

California sits at the center of this contradiction.

Bay Area workers watch entire departments being eliminated through mass layoffs disguised as efficiency measures.

Families in the Central Valley juggle warehouse shifts, agricultural labor, and service jobs with no promise that next month’s schedule will resemble this one.

Young people across Los Angeles and San Diego confront a labor market reshaped by automation, where entry-level work vanishes, and whole professions stand on the edge of replacement.

Our movement refuses this vision of disposability.

As governor, I will advance a guaranteed jobs program rooted in dignity and focused on the projects Californians need.

As the fourth largest economy in the world, California can and will lead the way to a livable future, from building climate-resilient homes to healing fire-scarred landscapes, expanding clean energy, and renewing the public systems that hold our communities together.

A guaranteed jobs program declares that every person in this state carries value that no corporation can deny.

It demonstrates that California belongs to the people who take care of it.

And it sets the stage for an economy guided by justice.
